About Me

I’m Pawel — a Technical Director at 180 Studios and the founder of STEP3 Media, my own production company. I’ve spent over a decade building and editing video content, most of it living at the intersection of tech and creativity.

At 180 Studios, I lead our Disguise AR virtual production setup — an XR LED stage that’s powered 50+ productions for brands like Moncler, Dazed, TUI, IKEA, Dyson, Guinness, and London Fashion Week. I’ve also worked on content for artists and exhibitions including Ryoji Ikeda, UVA, Wes Anderson’s “Asteroid City,” and Richard Mosse, and built an automated editing workflow using EditShare that cut our post-production turnaround by 20%.

Before that, I spent over a decade at FACT Magazine, starting as an Editor in 2012 and working my way up to Technical Director. I filmed, edited, and produced documentaries, music videos, and live festival coverage for events like Field Day, Lovebox, Parklife, Sónar, and ADE — and along the way, built FACT’s YouTube channel from scratch into a channel with 325K+ subscribers and 1,500+ videos.

Alongside all that, I run STEP3 Media, where my team and I make music videos, promotional content, and short films for brands including Expedia, OPPO Global, Vochlea, Abbey Road Studios, Ishga Cosmetics, and an ongoing partnership with Kinfolk AI.

I studied Television and Video Technology at Kingston University, and along the way I’ve picked up a handful of festival selections and a Best VFX award — proof that the same instincts that make a good ad also make a good short film.
